Outer Banks

Last week I skipped school, grabbed my family and squished into our "Honda" for a week in the Outer Banks North Carolina. It was everything I had imagined. We stayed in an awesome 8 bedroom house right on the beach. I woke up every morning and hit the beach. I found lots of shells and a few pieces of seaglass, including one from an old Clorox glass bleach bottle. It was freezing cold but we still managed to find lots to do. It is such a beautiful place there, I hope to go back one day...except next time we will go when it is warm and more than 2 restaurants are open, the house has an elevator so I dont have to walk 3 flights of stairs daily and we rent a giant motorhome so the dogs won't fight over space to lay down. These are just a few of the many pics I took. Enjoy!

Photo Shoot

On Tuesday and Wednesday I had the wonderful opportunity to attend Imagesforacure.com workshop.  In case you have never heard of it, it is a great organization made up of some of the finest photographers. It was created by local photographer KristenWeaver.comBut best of all it benefits breast cancer research, which is very near and dear to my heart. I was so incredibly happy and lucky to have won a free seat to the event. Day one of the event included very talented people sharing their tips and secrets to become a photographer and produce a successful business. Day two was a photo shoot of your choice lead by awesome photographers. So I chose a bride and groom shoot with the very talented Melanie and Brad Watson of LaDolceVitaStudio.com based in Jacksonville, FL.  We headed to downtown Orlando and got some beautiful photographs of Laura and John...they rocked it!  Thank you to everyone involved! These are the images I took!
