Quite awhile ago I saw a photo of a vintage library card catalog someone had in their home. I was instantly smitten. I searched and searched for one. They were either way too expensive or lived in another state. One day while searching ebay I found one someone in Tampa was selling. It was perfect. It now lives in my "ocean room". It stores some of my Mom's things like her service pins from Sears, old movie reels, breast cancer stuffed animals, her planner books through the years and a candle from her memorial service. Everytime I look at my card catalog, it makes me happy. It reminds of elementary school when they first taught us how to use a card catalog. I used to have so much fun searching through the cards and finding the book on the shelves. I wish I knew the origin of mine but the seller didn't know. Enjoy the pics...
